How do I redeem my Bako Deal?+
After checkout you will receive your certificate by email, usually within a few minutes. Show it on your phone or print it and present it to the merchant when you visit. Some deals require a reservation, which will be noted on the deal page.
Does my certificate expire?+
The amount you paid never expires. California law protects the paid value of your certificate, and it stays redeemable with the merchant indefinitely. Many deals also include a promotional bonus value on top of what you paid, and that bonus portion has an expiration date printed on your certificate. After that date your certificate is still good for the full amount you paid.
Can I buy more than one of the same deal?+
In most cases yes. Quantity limits per customer are noted on the individual deal page when they apply. Certificates make good gifts, but they may not be resold.
Can I get a refund?+
Yes, if you have not redeemed it. Email us within 7 days of purchase and we will refund your order in full. After 7 days certificates are final sale, but your paid value never expires so the certificate remains usable. Full details are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
I never got my email. What now?+
Check your spam and promotions folders first. Certificates come from an address at frequencybroadcasting.com. Still nothing? Email bakodeals@frequencybroadcasting.com with your order number and we will resend it right away, or log in to My Orders to view it.
What if the merchant will not honor my certificate?+
Contact us at bakodeals@frequencybroadcasting.com. We will work with the merchant to resolve it, and if we cannot get your certificate honored we will refund what you paid.
How do I pick up my order?+
Deals marked Pickup at Bako Deals are collected in person at 3651 Pegasus Drive, Bakersfield, CA 93308, inside the Frequency Broadcasting offices. We are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Bring your order confirmation and a photo ID that matches the name on your order.
Can someone else pick up for me?+
Yes. Email bakodeals@frequencybroadcasting.com before pickup with your order number and the full name of the person collecting. They will need to show their own photo ID.
How long do I have to pick up?+
30 days from purchase, unless the deal page gives a different window. Dated items must be collected by the date shown. We will email you reminders. If an item is still unclaimed after 60 days we may return it to inventory and issue store credit for what you paid.
Can you ship it instead?+
Pickup items are not shipped unless the deal page says otherwise.
